The academic year 2012-2013 will be one of sustained growth for the Cincinnati Waldorf School. Our full grade school program has eight grades. The Early Childhood program of 4 Early Childhood classes serves 50+ children. We also offer Parent & Child classes at two locations and an extended care program.
As our school grows, so too does our teaching and administrative faculty, currently numbering 40. We have capable, committed teachers in all programs including support subjects of Eurythmy, Spanish, Practical Arts, Strings, Choir, Art, Games, and Handwork. Faculty talents are rich, with great strength in singing, the visual arts, creative writing, drama, Eurythmy and dance. We are committed to having Waldorf trained experienced teachers.
Faculty salaries are competitive with private schools in the area. Benefits for the 2012-2013 school year will include partial tuition remission for full-time faculty, major medical health insurance and dental insurance for a small co-payment, and 401 K matching funds. Other faculty benefits include access to a medical savings account and a discount at our school store.
The Faculty works to broaden the Anthroposophical impulses within the Cincinnati community by presenting a wide variety of educational programs on Waldorf educational methods and child development. There are also various study groups and outreach programs available within our growing community.
