Enchanted Forest – A Summer Camp for Kindergarten Children

Nurture your child’s growing independence in a safe, engaging and peaceful setting while in the care of experienced Waldorf teachers. Your children will join Valerie DuBay (CWS 1st Grade assistant and former CWS Kindergarten teacher), Kyle Arthur (CWS NatureTots teacher) and Colleen St. John (CWS Kindergarten teacher) for a week of play, learning and exploration.

Meshewa, our Indian Hill Early Childhood Campus, is surrounded by acres of forest, meadows and streams just waiting for childhood exploration. Adding to the peaceful setting is our neighbor, Turner Farm, whose chickens, sheep, cows and horses you’ll see all along Meshewa’s tree-lined drive.

With a structure and rhythm designed especially for 4-5 year olds, the day will include a circle of songs and games, water play, fun Waldorf artistic activities, nature walks and free play. We’ll also take walks to Turner Farm to feed the animals and talk to a friendly farmer or two. You supply lunch and a snack; we supply everything else. Your child will enjoy a great week of summer fun and learning in a beautiful setting under the guidance of experienced Waldorf teachers.
