Nature Nursery – A Summer Camp for Preschool Children

Nurture your child’s development in a safe, engaging and peaceful environment while in the care of experienced Waldorf teachers. Meshewa, our Indian Hill Early Childhood satellite campus, is surrounded by forests, meadows and streams just waiting for childhood exploration. Your children will join Ms. Carmy, CWS Nursery teacher, along with Ms. Kyle, CWS NatureTots teacher, in a summer camp filled with fun and discovery.

With a structure and rhythm designed especially for 3-4 year olds, children will engage in water play, nature walks, crafts, gardening, stories and snack time. We’ll explore in the natural play space and splash in the bubbling stream. If weather dictates, we’ll move indoors to our classrooms filled with hand crafted toys and creative activities.

Along Meshewa’s tree-lined drive, you’ll see the activities of our neighbor, Turner Farm. This organic farm is busy with the activities of chickens, sheep, cows and horses, not to mention a friendly farmer or two. They always welcome a visit from our Nature Nursery families!

• Space is limited, so please enroll early.
