Cincinnati Waldorf School Upcoming Events

October 19 9:00 – 10:30am        Tour/Observation Morning

Join us for a guided tour of the CWS on the third Tuesday of every month.  This is an opportunity for parents to see the school and observe Waldorf classes in action.  A question and answer session follows the tour.  Adults only please.  RSVPby the day before tour to Karen Crick at 541- 0220 ext.103 or kcrick@cincinnatiwaldorfschool.org

November 13 10:00am – 1:00pm   Open House

Please bring the whole family to CWS for our semi-annual Open House.  Guided tours, conversation with our faculty, classroom displays, refreshments and more are provided.  Bring you friends!

November 13 10:30 – 11:30am      A Taste of Waldorf School

This event is designed for children entering Nursery School or Kindergarten (ages 2 – 4) and their parent or caregiver (one parent or caregiver per child please).  Our own Ms. Kyle and Ms. Chris will lead children through three typical Nursery School/Kindergarten activities to demonstrate the Waldorf Early Childhood curriculum.  Join us and let your child experience the beauty and wonder of Waldorf!  Reservations are required. This event is held in the Kindergarten wing of the Cincinnati Waldorf School in conjunction with our fall Open House. November 16 6:30 – 7:30pm           The Waldorf Approach to Academics

Join us for this enlightening presentation by Waldorf teacher Lori Kran in the CWS cafeteria.  The Waldorf Approach to Academics is designed to help attendees understand the unique aspects of the Waldorf curriculum and how the academic program challenges and prepares students for life!  Bring  your friends!

December 7 6:30 – 8:00pm           Seasonal Craft & Preschool Information Evening

Take some time away from the holiday hubbub and join us for a quiet and informative evening in the NatureTots classroom at our Meshewa Center for Early Childhood at 7550 Given Road in Indian Hill.
Make a simple needle felted holiday craft- simple enough for beginners, while discussing preschool readiness, a typical preschool day, and goals of preschool.  Adults only please.  Reservations are required.
Cost is $5, however, parents currently enrolled in NatureTots or Parents & Tots are invited to participate at no charge! Please RSVP by December 1 to Karen at 513.541.0220 ext103 or kcrick@cincinnatiwaldorfschool.org
