ARE YOU AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL?
Yes! The Cincinnati Waldorf School is a full member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. We are also accredited through the state of Ohio.
HOW DIVERSE IS YOUR SCHOOL?
CWS is a diverse community. Our student body includes children of many different religious and socio-economic backgrounds with 25% minority enrollment. Diversity is valued here.
HOW EASY WILL IT BE FOR MY CHILD TO TRANSITION TO THIS SYLE OF EDUCATION?
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS OF YOUR FACULTY?
All of our lead teachers have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and additional Waldorf teacher training. The majority of our teachers hold post-graduate degrees and all are licensed teachers in the state of Ohio.
WHEN DID CWS OPEN AND HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED?
The Cincinnati Waldorf School was founded in 1973. It began as an early childhood program and grew gradually to a full grade school (1-8) by 2006. Our high school opens in August of 2018. We currently have over 250 students enrolled in CWS from preschool through 9th grade!
ARE THERE PLANS FOR A HIGH SCHOOL?
The Cincinnati Waldorf High School will open in August of 2018! We are excited to announce that we are currently enrolling 9th and 10th Grade students for the 2018-19 school year. Please contact Jess Prussia email@example.com for more information.
WHERE DO STUDENTS GO WHEN THEY GRADUATE FROM CWS?
The short answer is everywhere! Our students currently go on to many public, private, and parochial high schools including: Cincinnati Waldorf High School, School for the Creative and Performing Arts, Seven Hills, Walnut Hills, Clark Montessori, Sycamore, Anderson, Mason, Lakota, Cincinnati Country Day, St. Xavier, Highlands, and many others. Our Cincinnati Waldorf High School, opening in August of 2018, will provide another excellent option for our grade school graduates. Soon we’ll be able to answer questions about where our high school graduates attend college!

Introductory Tours/Observation Mornings:
On the third Tuesday of each month during the school year from 9:00am – 10:30am, adults are welcome to join us for a guided tour of CWS, observation in several Waldorf classrooms, followed by a Q&A session with the enrollment director. (Tours offered by appointment during the summer months. Contact Karen Crick at firstname.lastname@example.org)
During the school year, we offer two Open Houses. Both are on Saturdays from 10am – 1pm. Open Houses are for the whole family and include open classrooms, guided tours, conversations with faculty and parents, refreshments, and much more! Scheduled Open Houses for the 2018-19 school year are:
