CWS Winter Music Concerts!
Families are cordially invited to attend our CWS Winter Music Concerts! Hosted by Mr. Petersen [choral music] and Dr. Carpinteyro [strings], all students in Grades 4-12 will be sharing the gift of music. Concert times are as follows:
Thursday, December 14 / 4-5 PM / Grades 4-6
Thursday, December 14 / 6:30-7:30 PM / Grades 7-12

Advance Holiday Faire tickets are available until 5PM today! There will be tickets available at the door tomorrow for $20 per person. No Treasure Gnome or Angel Room reservations will be available day-of, so please reserve your tickets/times now!

CWS Announces New Legacy Scholarship!
As we continue to celebrate the 50th year of the Cincinnati Waldorf School, we are taking note of the very welcome presence of CWS parents who were students here at one time!
We are pleased to announce that the CWS Board of Trustees has approved a new CWS Legacy Scholarship that will be awarded to any CWS parent* who either 1) Graduated from Cincinnati Waldorf School (at highest program level offered), or 2) Attended CWS for 5+ years. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage our alums to send their own children to CWS, to make it more affordable for them, and to engage our alums in the CWS community. The Legacy Scholarship is $1,000 per family, per year, for as long as their student(s) attends. *Parent includes biological parent, adopted parent, custodial step parent or legal guardian.

What's the Spring Benefit you ask? It's an amazing, fun party that also raises money to support our school! Check out a groovy video of last year's event here.

Watch Your Child Walk the Wintergarden Spiral!
Each December CWS joins Waldorf schools around the world to celebrate Wintergarden. Wintergarden offers students an opportunity to reflect on the light they carry within as they journey through winter's cold and dark and to feel how their light joins with the light of their classmates to create a warm and supportive community.
We welcome you to attend your student/s' Spiral Walk. In order to allow each child to be fully present during their walk and during the walks of their peers, parents who attend agree to watch in silence and refrain from using cell phones or taking pictures during this reverent and meditative event.

Join Us for an Alumni/50th Anniversary Celebration!
Help Support the 4th Grade Blessing Bag Project!
The Fourth Grade is leading the Blessing Bag project. They will be selling items at Holiday Faire to raise money for Blessing Bag items. On December 13th, Fourth Grade and the SAC will lay out the items, and each student in Grades 1-8 will have the opportunity to make a bag to hand out to people experiencing homelessness.
The Blessing Bag project is a chance to give to neighbors in need in Cincinnati. This year's goal is to make 180 Blessing Bags so that every grade school student can take one Blessing Bag with them to give out. Please bring your donations to the Cincinnati Waldorf School or drop them off at Sonya Warren's house by December 8, 2023.

Even now that it's December, you can still order produce online from Rose Hill Farm. Pick up your order in front of the school on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:15. Please note that you must walk up to get your order — orders will not be delivered via the car line.
Place your order online by EOD Monday to pick up on Wednesday. Select "Pick up at CWS" during check-out.
