Woodland Preschool Lead
Carmy began working at CWS in the summer of 1986, leading the summer camp program. She began working as an EC assistant the following year. She has also worked as the handwork teacher for first and second grade, before becoming the lead preschool teacher in the 1993-94 school year.
She graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati, Arcturus Waldorf Teacher Training/presented at CWS, as well as countless workshops, and summer training.
Carmy enjoys drawing, painting, nature study, the study of botany, gardening with a focus on native plant restoration, and hiking.
A friend introduced Carmy to Waldorf education during her senior year in college. She has been hooked ever since!
