CWS Foundation Studies

The CWS Foundation Studies program will be hosting another block of sessions, Saturdays from 10 AM - 4 PM on the following dates: March 4, March 25, April 22, May 13. These sessions will include facilitated group study, as well as rich artistic experiences and social connection. These studies are intrinsically valuable for both the newly interested parent and the master Waldorf teacher.  For this block, we will be focusing primarily on selected lectures from Soul Economy by Rudolf Steiner, founder of Waldorf education. This lecture series provides a wealth and variety of insights into the tenets of Waldorf pedagogy as it pertains to child development, and of the inner soul health of the educator. For our first session on March 4, we will begin with Lecture 7 - "Children Before the Seventh Year" - and Lecture 8 - "The Waldorf School."
