Vanessa Williams

Ms. Vanessa began her Waldorf career at Great Oak Waldorf School near Houston, Texas in 2018. She holds two degrees in Classical music, several certifications in teaching music, has earned her certification in Early Childhood studies from the West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy and then went on to earn her Waldorf Music Teachers Certification through Sunbridge Institute. She loves sharing the daily rhythm and rhythm of the week with her young students, with a big emphasis on music, handwork, developmental movement, and outdoor exploration. Her musical experience has also been hard at work at her previous school, accompanying eurythmy classes, instructing general music, founding a choral program for grades 2-8, directing music for class plays, and leading faculty singing. Vanessa’s personal hobbies include writing and recording folk music for children, hiking and yoga. She is happy to be joining the faculty of Cincinnati Waldorf school and looks forward to integrating into a new community of colleagues, parents and students.
