*May Day Celebration Postponed

We are monitoring the weather forecast for next week and will select the day that looks most favorable for rescheduling our May Day Festival. Please be on the lookout for a communication Sunday evening regarding the rescheduled date!

Regardless of the final date, the schedule and locations for May Day will remain the same:

  • Early Childhood classes (Nature Tots, Preschool, and Kindergarten) will celebrate from 9-11 in Ann Becker Park

  • Grade School will be making flower crowns in the morning at school with the flowers/ivy sent in by families in the morning

  • Grade School and High School will celebrate with performances from 1:30-2:40 at Ann Becker Park

If Wednesday is the chosen date, the previously scheduled strings concerts may be postponed. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the limitations of an outdoor celebration during our busiest time of year!

Chef Lex Gets a BIG Upgrade, Thanks to YOU!!

BEFORE ....

Can you even believe that Chef Lex has been cooking a scratch-made lunch for 50+ kids a day (and catered the Spring Benefit!) on a tiny little hot plate?!

AFTER!!!!!!!!

Well, not anymore!!! At this year's Spring Benefit, CWS families came through for Chef Lex (and our school!) in a huge way, raising $5,000 to help purchase a REAL stove and give our school kitchen some much-needed love. Just look at this beautiful, high end commercial stove, griddle, and oven that you helped purchase (for a bargain!) for Chef Lex — and for all of our students and faculty at CWS!

Thank you so much, CWS Families!! 💜

Your support makes a HUGE difference for our school!

Thank You for a Sweet Start to Faculty Appreciation Month!

Thank you so much to all of the families and PA members who put together such a lovely spread of Grab 'n Go snacks for CWS faculty this past Wednesday! Your kindness is helping to fuel our faculty through these last busy weeks of school ❤️

Up next week ... a delicious lunch for all faculty members prepared by the one and only Chef Lex and funded by the CWS Parent Association!

There are still a few spots to help out if you'd like to sign up! And, keep an eye out for more information about how you can participate in the "surprise" on the last day of school.
