Live music will be provided by The Sweet Corn String Band, and Hazel Jodock, will teach and prompt the dances. Dismissal Changes

ree

We are adding a new process to make our school dismissal smoother! On Monday (9/15), your learner will come home with two car tags. Please keep one in your vehicle. Then, display the car tag(s) for your child(ten) when you arrive to pick up. You will not need a phone app (or even a phone). Bar codes will be scanned as you enter the parking lot, notifying the teachers to ready the student to come to the car line. You may park or enter the car line to receive your child after scanning

Join Us for Michaelmas Friday, September 26th

We welcome our community to attend our Michaelmas celebration for the Grades (1-12) on the afternoon of Friday, September 26th from 1-3pm. This celebration includes our beloved Michaelmas play, performed by Grades 2 & 4, as well as other class sharings.

ree

Our Michaelmas play and sharings will begin promptly at 1 PM, so please arrive a few minutes in advance to get settled. The performances will take place in the Bowl (grassy area next to the school). Please bring your own chairs or blanket. Grandparents and other close friends or family members are welcome to attend.

Guests are also invited to stay and partake of our Michaelmas feast, which will include dragon bread and honey butter, apples, and veggies.

Not sure what Michaelmas is? Check out this blog post, which explains more.

Want to learn our school's Michaelmas songs? The CWS Community Singers have recorded many favorites here. Singing along with your kiddos in the car or at home can be super fun!

ATTN: Sign Up to Bring Bread for Our Michaelmas Feast!

Do you love to bake bread or have a favorite bakery? Consider signing up to bring bread for our Michaelmas feast! Bread - including bread shaped like the head of a dragon - is central to our celebration. Bread donations can be dropped in the front office on the morning of Michaelmas, Friday, September 26. Thank you in advance for your offerings!

No microwave available for student use.

There is no longer a microwave available for grades students. Hot foods need to be pre-heated at home and sent in a thermos.

Thank you!
