Welcome Cat Toth to our faculty!

We have a new Community Development Director, starting on Monday, September 22. Cat Toth is a Rose Blossom parent and has been in the CWS community since 2021. She has most recently been a health care administrator and brings to this position a background in communications, event coordination, marketing, and nonprofit collaboration. She has experience supporting mission-aligned organizations, like Green Umbrella and the Women’s Health Initiatives Foundation, where she served on the board. We are so happy to have her. This position in our school seeks to engage all people. She will find herself working with the board, faculty, and families, past and present, to promote our mission for our continuing growth. Please give Cat a warm CWS welcome!
Welcome back, Class of 2026!
Our seniors are back from their trip to the Coast of Maine! Last week was filled with lots of hard work, fun, self-discovery, stunning views and new friends. Our 12th graders participated in challenging marine biology labs, tidepool exploration, ecological study and poetry and watercolor/colored pencil workshops. The trip was a rich, hands-on experience of living and learning outdoors, making new friends, deepening class relationships, and reflecting on the future while surrounded by the rugged beauty and vitality of the Maine coast. We were so fortunate to be able to share this week with the Gathering Waters School, Chicago Waldorf School, The Rudolf Steiner School of New York and the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. Our 12th graders return with lots of experiences, memories, learnings and maybe a few bags still to unpack. We encourage the Waldorf community to ask questions and learn more about this transformative experience. The 12th graders will be around in the coming weeks to share about their experiences with the grade school. Be on the lookout for the display of their stunning watercolor paintings!
