The Cincinnati Waldorf School is undergoing a period of sustained growth with the highest enrollment in our school’s history. Our Grade School program has eight grades. The Early Childhood program of 2 Preschool and 2 Kindergarten classes serves 70+ children. We also offer Parent & Child classes and an After Care program. Plans are underway for our expansion to a Waldorf High School opening August 2018.
As our school grows, so too does our teaching and administrative faculty. We have capable, committed teachers in all programs including the special subjects of Eurythmy, Spanish, Practical Arts, Strings, Choir, Games, and Handwork. Faculty talents are rich, with great strength in singing, the visual arts, creative writing, drama, and eurythmy. We are committed to having Waldorf-trained, experienced teachers.
Faculty salaries are reflective of prior Waldorf experience and education. Benefits include partial tuition remission for salaried faculty, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and 401k matching funds.
The Faculty works to broaden the anthroposophical impulses within the Cincinnati community by presenting a wide variety of educational programs on Waldorf teaching methods and child development. There are also various study groups and outreach programs available within our growing community.
