BABY BLOSSOMS
Babies 8-14 months with parent or caregiver
We invite you to bring your growing and mobile baby to an hour-long class for a peaceful atmosphere of observation, deepening your understanding of your child’s intuitive progress through the developmental movement sequences of the later months of the first year of life. Parents or caregivers will learn lullabies and touching games to engage and soothe their infants and provide the opportunity to strengthen attachment. Watch the wisdom of the human being unfold before your eyes as the babies continue to achieve new milestones. Focus will be on cultivating well-being for all, providing a nurturing space where you and your baby can feel confident. Articles and discussion topics will explore methods of caregiving based upon respect for the infant (Emi Pikler/Magda Gerber’s R.I.E. philosophy) and Rudolf Steiner’s picture of the human being. Small groups of four or five families will help create a safe and trusting environment.
Classes are offered once weekly from 12:30-1:30pm on Thursdays.
